Encore 2023 – Instrumental Progressive Rock
Hey everyone,
I wanted to talk about my latest song, Encore 2023. I wrote an instrumental progressive rock piece in 2000 while running my septet in France. I’m really proud of this song, showcasing my musical skills.
Some people might think I’m just trying to flatter myself by talking up my own song. But honestly, that’s not my intention at all, and I want to share my music with people and let them make their own judgments.
The thing about Encore 2023 is that it’s relatively easy to play, but the song’s writing and overall concept are complex. The first part of the song is in 5/4, with added beats here and there. The bridge starts in 3/4 and switches to 4/4 before returning to 5/4. Everything is written except for the little part in the intro and a riff near the song’s end.
I played Encore 2023 with my custom scalloped Stratocaster, which gives it a unique sound. But ultimately, the song is about more than just the guitar playing. It’s about the emotion and feeling that I put into the music.
Now, I could sit here and talk about the technical details of the song all day. But what’s really important is the story behind it. I’ve been working on this song for over two decades, refining it bit by bit until I was finally happy with the end result.
That’s what makes Encore 2023 special to me. It’s a labor of love, and I poured my heart and soul into it. People can feel the passion for creating it when they listen to it.
So, if you’re a fan of instrumental progressive rock, I’d love for you to check out Encore 2023. But even if it’s not your usual style of music, I hope you can appreciate the dedication and hard work that went into making it.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope you enjoy the song.
