The Snake
I made this guitar in France in 2019 in my parents’ attic using a Thomann kit. I moved to Thailand soon after. I barely played it a few times.
I only kept the wood and a few bits of plastic from the kit. The rest is from various sources, and although the basic kit is inexpensive, the total cost of the instrument is a bit higher.
My guitar arsenal dried there for almost two years until a mover took care of it.
I first intended to sell this guitar. It was the result of all my best and tested techniques of strat building. I also included my fabric technique, which consists of encrusting fabric on wood using epoxy. I love the result of it. The Snake is one of my best releases so far.
It looks good, but it plays well also.
I have the best hardware and set of pickup ever.
Hardware
- Locking tuners
- roller nuts
- Schaller Sure Claw
- Aluminum pickguard
- strap locks
Electronic
- Brighton Rock Vintage Pickups
- Regular Fender wiring
A review video is coming soon.
I am working also on a song in duet with the Snake and my Resonator guitar, Harley Benton Resoking.
