When I was 16, I wrote the main riff for my song Yeehaw. Years later, when I got my home studio in France, I started recording my old arrangements and stumbled upon that riff again. I registered it as a joke and wrote the melody on the fly, but things got serious at the solo part, and I started considering the song in another light. It’s quite a good song that mysteriously got a steady beat of listeners since I published it.

I published Yeehaw In 2022, but I recorded it back in 2017. It was first intended to be sold on copyright-free content portals, but that business form vanished. So, I decided to release all the good tracks I produced for this project, and 4 of my albums are music from this work.
Strangely, this song, Yeehaw, received quite a good amount of traffic on Spotify, considering it’s instrumental, and I didn’t have any promotion.
While listening to my music to make a playlist to promote that curious song, I discovered that country rock is a big part of my style. I always thought I was a jazz fusion or progressive rock musician, but finally, many of my songs have this country rock feel in the guitar playing.

I was always a fan of the Allman Brothers and J. Geils Band when I was a kid, learning to play the guitar. I never considered myself stuck in a musical style, and I have always regarded musical genres as musical colors in the same way as harmony or sound effects.
