Hypeddit: Advanced SmartLink service… And more!

Nowadays, you need to advertise to be heard on the internet. The days you could make it just by ranking in Google’s top10 are over.

One of the actual hip techniques in music marketing is known under the name of SmartLink.

Smartlink

There are many SmartLink services out there, including free ones like songwhip. Those services create pages on auto featuring all the streaming platforms where each song and albums are published.

Pro SmartLink services such as Hypeddit allow you to customize the page to display your choice of streaming sites and custom links. You can also track every link on the page.

Pro SmartLink services work with Facebook, Google, and TikTok tracking pixels. Using this type of service to manage your ad campaigns is crucial.

There are many alternatives to that

I tried many:

  1. WordPress plugin
  2. Your site
  3. Free alternatives
  4. Pro services

WordPress plugin/Your site

HypedditThe two techniques sound similar, but the plugins are paid solutions that offer the same type of service a SmartLink site does. You have to host it on a WordPress site.

You can also do it all by yourself, on a WordPress site, using free plugins and lots of coding. Or any kind of support. WordPress being the number 1 website platform, the amount of paid and free plugins developed for it is huge. You can find free alternatives and build the SmartLink page you want.

Free alternatives

Free alternatives are not interesting to run advertising campaigns. I use them all, the likes of songwhip, hypperfollow, etc., but you cannot rely on them to manage your career. They are only good to drive traffic to your songs/albums and create density around your keywords. They do not handle tracking pixels and stats are limited (hypperfollow) or non-existent (songwhip).

pro competitors

I tested a bunch, Toneden, feature.fm, Hypeddit.

To test them, you have to set up the pixel in Facebook. It’s not difficult, but it’s a pain to set up.

 Pro Smartlink service

Before setting up anything, I compared offers.

  • Hypeddit 9$/month
  • Features.fm 17$/month
  • Toneden 50$/month…

It’s easy to understand why I opted for Hypeddit. Toneden’s free account being so limited, it appeared evident that I needed a paid service sooner or later. After testing Toneden with a free account, and creating my own SmartLink page using free plugins, I decided to join Hypeddit.

No time to lose setting up an offer I won’t buy. No way I would pay 50$/month, no matter how good the offer is. Toneden is certainly really good, and the massive price difference might be justified. But this price range is not for me. It is intended for big producers who manage an extensive catalog of groups.

Hypeddit

I am pleasantly surprised. The site is fast, and smartlinks are easy to manage.

There are also lots of other tools such as:

Share Music

  • Download Gate
  • Link Gate
  • Smart Link
  • Pre-Release Smart Link
  • Loud Link
  • Facebook Tab

Promote Music

  • Fan promotion
  • Promotion exchange
Here are some pages I made:

Smartlink WordPress plugin VS Hypeddit

SmartLink WordPress plugins are paid applications, and the fee is close to Pro Smartlink services. On top of it, you have to host it, and that is where the problem comes in.

The heavy traffic you get from a Facebook campaign will crash the server on a cheap hosting plan such as mine.

I tried, and my site resource got limited right away by my host. The site was slow, and so was the SmartLink page.

>>> Hands Down Hypeddit Is the Best Solution <<<

With a paid-hosted SmartLink solution, they handle the bandwidth, and all the technical aspects. I only have to focus on my ad campaigns.

Nowadays, it is more and more interesting to use hosted services for every internet need instead of hosting it yourself. Forum, pictures, videos, files, etc.

It is trouble-free and, most of the time, cheaper than a self-hosted solution.

Doomer & ElectroJazz music

I just made a new playlist to promote my EletroJazz work (or Acid jazz, name it as you want).

The playlist features my latest song, Doomer, in “the main event.”

I regrouped all the songs in that vein I produced over the years.

I came up with a list of 11 pieces for 40 min 29 sec of music.

Testing Distrovid $99/yr. – brand-new service from Distrokid

Distovid is a brand-new service that publishes your music videos and monetizes them on 5 platforms.

You can only upload one song per video, only your own music. If you want to publish covers, you must have written permission from the composer.

I just signed up to Distrovid the day after I signed up to Repost by SoundCloud. Check the article

Here is the list of sites your video is going to be published on:

  • Apple Music
  • Amazon
  • Tidal
  • Vevo
  • DistroVid Gallery (🎉 coming soon!)

It can take up to 5 days for the videos to be live. Up to now, the videos I uploaded are either in processing or analyzing mode.

Distrovid Admin

I am waiting for my Vevo page. So, I decided to stop uploading videos until I got access to the Vevo page because I could not edit the uploaded videos. I am afraid I have to erase them and reupload them again to select the Vevo personal URL.

Six days later

On 20/07/22, my videos have the status of Sent to streaming services.

Two of my clips got rejected because they do not allow promotional videos showing only the art cover or slideshows. You must submit real videos of yourself playing or make a video using copyright-free images mixed with slideshows or any clip of you.

I finished uploading my videos. Some of them got rejected because Streaming services only accept frame rates larger than 23.976 fps

The solution to this problem

They were old videos, done with old software. I simply opened the video in Wondershare Filmora, my video software, changed the resolution to 1920×1080, and exported it. Problem solved; the new version of the video was accepted.

On 07/27/22

Two of my videos got rejected because: “Music videos must not contain chyrons, static or scrolling lyrics, lower-third graphics, subtitles, or lyrics displayed as subtitles.”

Chyrons: “Lower third, television graphics that occupy the lower area of the screen or any predominantly text-based video graphic as used mainly by television news broadcasts.” – Wikipedia

So, no texts on the video, like the site URL… I wonder if we can use titles for the song?

How many videos will they accept because most of my videos have texts? I do not have the files for the old videos anymore, so I cannot edit them.

Here are the rules on the submit video page:

08/01/22 Nothing has changed… Until I find

All my videos have the “Sent to streaming services” status, except the two rejected.

Finally, all the videos are live on VEVO, Apple Music, and Tidal; only Amazon is missing. The admin is so limited that you have to google for your videos.

That’s what I just did.

VEVO Channel

I found my VEVO videos by accident. I was searching for a video of mine on YouTube, and I got VEVO in my results. All the videos uploaded are available on the VEVO YouTube channel.

>>> HervSenniVEVO <<<

VEVO is a music YouTube channel. They are releasing legal quality music videos.
My channel is HervSenniVEVO. Same as ShakiraVEVO, but with different incomes. Lol (ShakiraVEVO being the number one Vevo channel).

It’s the same principle as YouTube Topic. However, the videos must be real instead of simply having an art cover video content. Because of that, the channel should bring more plays than YT Topic because videos are much better.

>>>HervéSenniTopic <<<

Apple Music Videos

I discovered my videos on my Hervé Senni Apple Music page. It’s at the footer of the main page and owns a page of its own.

>>> Hervé Senni Apple Music Videos <<<

Amazon Video

Nothing appears on Amazon. Only two thumbs of the same video, but ordered in the MP3 category, and links are dead.

Tidal

They are also listed at Tidal, but to view them or to get the URL is impossible. I have to obtain a paying account to listen to anything. It’s only free to log in. lol

>>> Hervé Senni Tidal Page <<<

DistroVid Gallery

This one is MIA as of now.

Conclusion

Everything is set. The only missing function is DistroVid Gallery.

To sum it up

99$/year to be published on 4, possibly 5 video sites is costly. Amazon videos are not working. On 08/12/22, I still have the two broken pics ordered in the wrong category.

Vevo is just a YouTube page, not a new website, and I don’t expect to cover the fee with the type of traffic those services generate. Also, Distrovid is a new website. Let’s see how it evolves. As of now, it’s not an interesting offer, and I suggest you wait.

For 99$, you get:

  • a Youtube Page
  • Videos added to your Apple Music page
  • Videos are added to your Tidal page, but only paying members can access the video player
  • Amazon is broken
  • Distrovid Gallery doesn’t exist

For me, 3 “sites.”

1 YouTube page and two artist pages have been updated. Considering the money I was already making with Tidal & Apple Music with my 14 albums, I don’t expect to make more than 5$ a year, everything included. I give them one year, and I won’t renew my account if they don’t upgrade the site.

I’ll update this article whenever they add the DistroVid Gallery or any new function to the offer.

Testing Repost by SoundCloud

– Article completed –

Stay away from that crap I disabled renewal after a month of fighting windmill

Having been distributed by Distrokid since 2014, I decided to try Repost by SoundCloud program. I am not looking to change distributors but to add more streaming platforms to increase coverage and of course streams.
I am writing this article simultaneously as I am creating my account. I am going to update this article regularly. So, stay tuned and come back often. I am the guinea pig for you all.

You can monetize your SoundCloud account by using Repost by SoundCloud or SoundCloud Pro Unlimited.

>>>Distribute your music with DISTROKID<<<

Repost by SoundCloud
Repost by SoundCloud

They have 3 different offers.

  • SoundCloud Basic: 3 hours upload and access to base insights. FREE
  • Repost by SoundCloud: Distribute your tracks on all primary music services. Grow your audience with promotional tools. Benefit from premium services to help you earn income, Return income to your employees. 2.50$/month if paid yearly
  • SoundCloud Pro Unlimited: everything is included in the lower packages plus: Unlock unlimited upload time. Earn fair revenue based on listening. Access advanced audience insights. Replace your title without losing stats. Pin your favorite titles. 12$/month if paid yearly

Earn fair revenue based on listening. This is an exciting line!!!

Difference between Repost by SoundCloud at 2.50$/month and SoundCloud Pro Unlimited 12$:

With the cheapest option, you cannot use Soundcloud PM. You cannot modify your personnel site, and you cannot edit the player and many other small details that do not seem that interesting.
The only option I find interesting in the pro-option is to use the Soundcloud PM. Considering the size of the site. If you intend to do heavy intern promotion (spamming), it’s certainly something to consider.
Soundcloud is one of the most established music sites there is. If I am displeased by their services after one year of testing, I can downgrade to SoundCloud Basic.
I will start with the Repost by SoundCloud offer, and I can still upgrade later.

>>> Hervé Senni YouTube Channel<<<

I enrolled on: 07/15/22. I waited two days to upload anything

Repost Soundcloud admin

Repost by SoundCloud

  • You cannot use PayPal to sign up. Only credit card.

The cool thing is you can select the sites to distribute your work. Since I’m already distributed by Distrokid, it will avoid conflicts.

Nice tricks for artists using Distrokid/Repost Sound Cloud:

When releasing a new album, use Distrokid first but do not select the paying option Shazam and Youtube music anymore. Submit to Shazam and Youtube Content ID using the Repost Sound Cloud Account instead. They are both included in the price. At Distrokid, Shazam is 1$/song, and the Google tracking fee is the most expensive of the extras.

  • Distrokid:19$/year, 100% royalties
  • Repost by SoundCloud: 30$/year, 80% royalties

The Repost by SoundCloud offer is less attractive.
Distrokid is cheaper and takes no money from your royalties. Shazam and YouTube Content ID are “nice” small advantages.
I am not trying to compare both services. It’s like e-commerce. If you are selling online, is it better to sell on eBay or Amazon? You can make money on each one, but why not sell on both? I lose 20%, but considering I am only going to submit to publishers not available at Distrokid, it’s only extra money. And an excellent way to add platforms to your promotion arsenal.

>>>Distribute your music with DISTROKID<<<

  • Upload is really slow compared to Spotify. It takes ages to upload a song. Even a pic.

Here is a screencap of the Distribution page.

Repost by SoundCloud

I am adding 12 new streaming platforms to my catalog, plus the monetized Sound Cloud Page. All the unselected sites are already published via Distrokid.

The submission date 40 days ahead seems strange, and I opted for the 1 of august. I don’t know why I cannot publish my music immediately, especially for a piece that has already been issued for years.

I got a message saying that after my first submission is approved, I will be able to submit freely.

Now I am waiting for my approval to continue. It might take up to 3, or 4 days…

Up to now, this has been really slow, and I find the overly long process useless. Time will tell. Let’s wait for it to be approved.

Today 07/20/22

Five days later, my first album is under review. 3 of my songs are listed on the YouTube content ID page.

>>>Hervé Senni Streaming Platform<<<

Until my album is reviewed, every new submission is going to be in Draft status, so I wait until I get reviewed.

07/23/22: my album has been approved

The album is set to be published on 08/01.

Can’t wait to see what my personal page and player look like.

You have to enable one by one each track for Content ID

On 07/26/22, I received a copyright claim from YouTube

A content ID copyright owner has claimed some material in your video concerning the song Gypsie Run.

The claim is from RepostNetwork, so I guess it’s the usual process to benefit from the YouTube Content ID service. I wonder why I only received one song when they accepted 5… I think I am going to receive a mail for each one.

Since I received the same claim for all my songs published on YouTube concerning all the pieces published on the Repost network.

08/01/22 I’m Live

I don’t see any differences in my admin, and none of my published work appears on my SoundCloud page. I only have the old songs I uploaded a while ago.

I couldn’t find links to my songs anywhere in the admin. But since they are published today, I guess I have to wait for my links to populate and my pages to be created…

I received no email concerning my publishing. The admin is minimal, I changed to the new Beta display, but It’s exactly the same as the other admin, just a different look.

Monetize SoundCloud

On the SoundCloud setting page, I had to activate monetization for all the old songs already featured in my free SoundCloud account. I expect my recently published work to appear on that list. Logically I shouldn’t have to activate monetization again because it’s already selected with the YouTube Content ID system when I uploaded the songs.

Promotional Tools

On the Promotion page, click on Promotional Tools.

Select: Smart Links

Smart links are landing pages for your tracks—the same service as Hyperfollow Pages and Whipsong.com.

You can create a page with links to major platforms.

It’s always good to have extra quality URLs to promote and add weight to your name on Google.

Here is a page I created for the song Gypsie run using the repost smart links option.

Sound Cloud

Repost by SoundCloud
Repost by SoundCloud

I don’t understand why my new songs are not appearing on my Soundcloud account. In my repost admin, the new pieces appear live on the releases page, and my old songs in SoundCloud are showing in my repost admin and are monetized.
When I go to the SoundCloud page, I only see old songs, and my account still looks like a free account, and I even have the link to upgrade to what I am trying to use, the pro account.

I couldn’t find anywhere to manage my SoundCloud page or where to get each song’s player. There’s not even a support link or a FAQ!
The site is useless up to now. On top of it, it is extra slow for everything, uploading a pic, a song, or even saving a simple form.

I cannot track anything now; the new songs were published yesterday.
I was in a hurry to upload my entire catalog, but now I will wait for that thing to work.

I couldn’t find a place to activate my pro account on SoundCloud on both sites. The only thing I can do is wait to see how my account will look in a few days!

Twenty-four hours later, nothing had changed. I have zero links, zero player code, and none of all the promo tools and services we are supposed to get.
I hope the system is slow and everything will get back in order within a few days. But I enrolled on: 07/15/22, and up to now, the service is questionable for speed and support, and they also failed to deliver most promo tools advertised. I’m starting to have significant doubts about this product.

Promo tools

You only have access to the smart link service if you don’t publish on Spotify and apple music using Repost by SoundCloud.

I decided to cancel the renewal

At the end of my subscription my pro account will be erased

I am not going to upload any new songs.

Please, do yourself a favor, avoid this service at all cost. Sign up only if you want to lose 30$. Repost by SoundCloud is the most useless service you can find online.

Top 3 of the week

Here Come the Guns, Jumping Fleas and Galaxy Drops got their 10000th counts.

Jumping Fleas & Here Come the Guns are recent. I recorded them less than a year ago.

Jumping Fleas is performed on my tenor Ukulele. Here Come the Guns is performed on my custom Strat tuned in fifth.

Green Bag is much older. It was recorded around 2014 and released much later on the Galaxy Drops album. I played it on an Ibanez guitar I bought in a pawn shop. I don’t remember the model. I just remember that I sold it more than I paid. I kept it for less than two weeks. I used it to record Green Bag and Mighty. then I sold it on eBay. I regretted that guitar until I bought my 335 derulo.

Important sites to run an online career in music

When you are like me, an unknown musician, the only way to be successful online is to become known online. It’s easy for musicians who have a name to be successful online, their name is a really strong keyword. Before thinking of making money with your music, you must first concentrate all your efforts on becoming famous. Or at least known in your niche… Then the money will come.

>>>Distribute your music with DISTROKID<<<

There are tons of social sites that help to boost your career and bring real new fans. There are many, most of them are not good. And the good ones need to be updated regularly.

I want this list as complete as possible, so I include them all. Most of them, you might already have accounts to them, but you might find some unknown to you, or ways to use them you didn’t expect.

Actually, this page lists everything I should do… LOL or complete. This page will help me organize better and analyze results.

Basic Crucial sites to run

  • YouTube: It is utterly important to run a YouTube channel, updated regularly with quality content. As a musician YouTube is our number one tool. It allows you to create a community and to talk to them.
  • Distrokid : to be listed on streaming platforms you need to be distributed. Distrokid is the best and the cheapest of them all. You need one, take the best.
  • Facebook: Official account, page & groups. You must run a FB page listing your activities. As soon as you start to have a following you must run a FB group. This is the best way to get in contact with our fans and to paste tons of affiliate links everywhere.
  • Instagram: Pictures & videos. I never really used this site. Need to work on it
  • twitter: post all your links. I never really used this site. Need to work on it

>>> Hervé Senni Streaming Platform <<<

Tools All the tools I use to promote my music.

  • Songwhips.com : this site creates on the fly a page listing all your songs or albums with links to every streaming platform.
  • Submithub.com: Send your music to curators
  • Distrovid:New service from Distrokid. I just signed up. I’ll write an article about it really soon.

As a rule, you must take advantage of all the streaming sites allowing you to have and edit a profile page. The ranking is totally different from one site to another. Basing your efforts only on Spotify is not good. You must promote everything.

Traffic Software

GSA Search Engine Ranker: Only to submit satellite pages like hyper follow pages, social media accounts, Tumblr, etc. Never directly to my domains. I will develop that later.

>>> Distrokid Music Distribution <<<

Distrokid Services

Distrokid
Distribute your music using Distrokid – Use my link and get 7% off

All those free services are included in the Distrokid offer.

  • HyperFollow is the easiest way to make pages that have your music, videos, social media links, and more—for free.
  • Promo cards: Generate promo content on the fly. Really handy to run a blog or post on Facebook, twitter, etc.
  • Playlist Spotlight: Submit your song and vote for it. To be submitted to a Distrokid playlist on Spotify. It’s hard to get listed and the song stays on less than 24 hours… For those who want to create a bot.
  • Vizi Music video generator: creates on-the-fly videos to promote your content. Same as Promo Cards, but for cell phones.

It is important to keep in mind that the only way you can succeed is consistency. There is not a single trick online that does not require work with regular updates.

You must update all your social sites and blogs regularly
But the way to write the content is crucial

First and foremost, you must know perfectly the rules of writing for the internet. In terms of keyword density, etc. Then, you must write about yourself in order for people to know you. What’s important is to use strong keywords that deliver traffic to your site.

Nobody is going to Google Hervé Senni, but lots of people are going to google Pat Matheney or Ritchie Blackmore. Therefore, writing an article about the influence I got from these two players will drive traffic to my site.

It will also explain my music and contribute to adding data to my brand.

>>> Hervé Senni YouTube Channel <<<

It is important to update everything regularly.

You can write about your music only or whatever you are doing as a hobby as well. The important thing is, every time you write an article you must think of a really strong keyword to get traffic from.  I can write about all the great musicians I have loved for ages and get lots of traffic from that. But I can also write about my favorite books and movies. The better known they are, the more traffic I’ll get. The only thing is to start with the keyword. Google it and look at the number of results. There are also tools to measure the importance of the KW.

Keyword Tools

Alternative to Distrokid

  • Soundcloud.com: You can monetize your account with Repost by SoundCloud.
  • Bandcamp.comOther alternatives to Distokid. A nice way to get in touch with a new crowd and distribute your work.
  • Reverbnation.com: Same as Bandcamp. Please don’t use any of the paid options. Only use it as a visit card.

>>> Distribute your music with DISTROKID <<<

music promotion tool

Not all of them are fully developed up to now. Iam going to start the list from top and finish them all. I am going to write an article about each step, with screen caps and results.

Free music links – link to over 14 music streaming platforms

I just stumbled on this gem a few minutes ago. I created a page for my song Jumping Fleas, and with one click, everything was done; Amazing!

I just entered the name of my song in the search box, selected my name on the result page, and clicked enter. Done

The best of all is that it is free and doesn’t require a login. Just search for your music and copy the URL of the generated page.

Here is my first ever page: Jumping Fleas @ Songwhip

Songwhip

The only thing you have to do is follow this link: Songwhip

Enter a name of a song, choose the right one in the result page. Click ok and a page is created on auto.

I just did this new one, for the song Green bag. It took me 10 seconds.

You can now use those URLs to promote your music.

Also, the URL generated is perfect SEO wise:

songwhip.com/hervesenni/jumping-fleas

Artist name, song name. No numbers, wierd signs or date. Hosted at the root of a strong, established domain. Its a plus for SEO marketing. This page will index by itself and gives good value to your name.

They have been my distributors since 2014. Great service, and most importantly they are the cheapest by far, it’s not even funny to compare.

Jumping Fleas is doing great @ Audiomak

I performed this song on my electric tenor Ukulele. I tuned it with a low G instead of the traditional Ukulele tuning. The regular tuning has a high G, which is called a re-entrant tuning.

I added my most powerful heavy sound, et voila. Violent Heavy metal on Ukulele!!!

Audiomack is new to me, and I am pleasantly surprised by it. I am starting to get some love from this streaming platform.

You can get Jumping Fleas on a bunch of hosts Jumping Fleas

Original video on my Youtube Channel

That is the video I made before releasing it as a single.

Review I made of the Clearwater Electric Tenor Ukulele

In that video, I review the Clearwater Electric Tenor Ukulele. I also explain how I get this monstrous sound and demo the unique possibilities you have in bendings.

I recently discovered a free program that allows me to list all the links of every of my published music.

Contemplation

I am in the process of analyzing my career.

Everything

I listened to all the repertoire carefully. Checking stats from various platforms. I listened very analytically to everything. Quality of playing, mix, mastering, and even the album’s thumbs.
I took the list of all patterns that are over-repeated. Venues that are under-exploited. The overall analysis of my music based on my opinion versus the sharts from Spotify and others.

Great results

Doing that, I listed all the pieces I consider my best and in an acceptable release. I also listed all the ones I love that require a new version. Because the original version is not up to what I expected, or simply because I like to play them. I have recorded endless versions of “Quai des Brunes” and will continue.

As a composer, there’s a difference between a good song and THE song.
I now have enough material to list my best songs and establish my catalog.

Catalog of songs – Hervé Senni’s Catalog

I made a playlist @ Spotify listing all my best compositions and sound performances.

Here is a list of my work that I consider my Book. Of course, I always write new songs, but I find it nice to revisit them and play them with a new lineup and grooves.

In my next article, I will publish the ones that I consider up there in terms of writing and popularity. But that the recording wasn’t good enough for any reason.

On the one hand, I want to clean up my repertoire and at least have one version that I consider excellent. But on the other hand, I want to establish my repertoire, clean it up, rearrange my favorites one more time, and write new songs.

Encore is getting some love on Shazam

The song is from my old album Strat Me Up, published in 2017.

Those songs were written long before computer music. Then, they were just music charts. I had many bands playing my music, but back then, the only way I could hear them was to play in a band.
I returned to computer music as soon as we could record audio correctly. In 2017, I launched 9 albums!!! Most of them being those old songs never recorded.

When you know how to manage recording and mastering. It is swift to create a song. I still have old songs that I will work on in one of my forthcoming albums.

Encore!

Encore is a song in different meters. The main part is in 5/4 with added beats here and there. The B part is in 3/4, then in 4/4 to go back to 5.

This is the original video I made for that song at that time. Check it out. And if you can do a few clicks to register, like, or comment, you are welcome.

F*cking Hot!!!Up to 37º Celsus!… I shaved my head

The main reason for such an extreme haircut is that I tried to dye my hair with a hip color like Grey, which turned out horrible.
The first time I saw my new balded face, I felt shocked, but after 4 or 5 days, I started getting used to it. So I’m going to keep it short for a while.

Back to the shed

I finally finished my shed. I’m in the process of tidying the place. The hassle of regrouping tons of tiny parts like potentiometers, pickups, knobs, etc. Far from done.
I’m going to restart working on my invented instrument—the fingerboard and range of a ZazBaglama on an electric guitar-type body. I named it: Baglatar.
I’m also going to work on a microtonal necks based on the Eastwood guitar model.

I worked hard the last year, and I feel it necessary to take a break. So I’m listening to all of my albums. In deep analysis, to spot the things I do too much or not enough. I analyze stats on the various streaming sources I’m on. I’m listing all my great songs that require a new version or a remix or mastering.

I’m going to start filming again when I start the Baglatar project.

But first tidying up the place, finishing adding Polyethylene, rainproof plastic sheets on the side for heavy rains, and making it ready for filming.

I also need to find an easy way to cover workbenches from humidity.

Here are a couple of pics of the shed building.

Top 10 hits at Spotify

Each platform is different. Depending on the country it is popular, results are drastically different.

Here is the top ten list at Spotify

I’m thrilled to see that the latest singles are in there. Not my latest 4 titles albums I released few days ago, but “Jumping Fleas” in 2nd position that I released on December 8, 2021, “Here come the guns” on January 27, 2022, in fourth place and “Bary Bust” on January 14, 2022 in 6th position.

According to the other tracks in that ranking, Spotify users are more into heavy rock music and modern Jazz, AKA Nue Jazz, which is different from other platforms.

If you are a Spotify user, you can listen to the top 10 playlists I made.

Enjoy the playlist @Spotify

Easy Going – New Hervé Senni Album

Easy Going - Hervé Senni
Easy Going – Hervé Senni

Easy Going is my latest production. The album features four titles that have already been released in videos on my Youtube channel.

I had to remaster them because Youtube has a nasty habit of compressing music so much that you must master the music for it specifically.

The songs were released earlier this year and used to demo guitars I have built, modified or effects for my Youtube Channel.

Songs on Easy Going – Hervé Senni 4 Titles Album
  • Doomer: Every song’s track has been performed using the C4 Synth pedal from Source Audio, except the drums.
  • Easy Going: This song features a bunch of different instruments. It was created to demo my electric Ubass (Bass Ukulele). Aside from this instrument, I used my custom 12 string Stratocaster. It doesn’t sound like 12 strings but trust me; it’s there. I also used my Boss SY guitar synth for the solo at the end and my acoustic Ukulele for the main theme.
  • Gypsie Run: is performed on my 3/4 guitar tuned in A. The tuning is like a guitar at the fifth fret, so the tuning is A, D, G, C, E, A. The song is based on an F minor harmonic scale; it has a Latin jazz flavor. I like the theme. Simple and melodic.
  • Winnie: I won’t explain the title. You have to do some search if you don’t know what it is. Hint: it has nothing to do with Winnie-the-Pooh. I played it using my custom Stratocaster.
